GARNISH EXTERIOR EMULSION
Garnish Exterior Emulsion is an exterior wall coating specially formulated for dry or moderately humid climatic areas. This coating offers excellent resistance to chalking, cracking and weathering as compared to traditional cement paint.
Recommended Usage:
Garnish Exterior Emulsion is recommended for all types of exterior surfaces like cement plaster, asbestos sheets, and concrete surfaces. Avoid surfaces with continuous campiness and seepages.
Previously painted surfaces should be made free of all dust, greasy and powdery material. The algal and fungal growth can be removed using a wire brush and the surface must be cleaned with a water splash. All loose, old paint must be cleaned from the surface with a wire brush and water jet and left to dry. All structural cracks must be open in a V-shape filled with white cement/cement-based plaster and leakage should be stopped before the actual painting. Cracks should be filled up by using a cement and sand mixture in the ratio 1:3 or Garnish Crack Filler. The newly plastered surface must have been cured at least 2–3 months before the painting. Apply one coat of Garnish Exterior wall primer or Garnish Exterior Emulsion diluted 1:1 with clean water.
Finishing
Apply 2–3 coats of garnish exterior emulsion thinned with 400-450 ml by volume of potable water per LTR paint. Allow drying time of 3–4 hours between the coats.
